Spring Session Adjourns — 5 AI Bills Sent to Governor
SB 315 (frontier safety audits), SB 316 (companion-AI safeguards), SB 317 (chatbot disclosure), SB 318 (ticket bots), and SB 3114 (human review of AI claim downcoding) passed both chambers. Gov. Pritzker has pledged to sign SB 315. Most other AI proposals did not get a floor vote and remain pending in the 104th GA.

IDHR Postpones AI-in-Employment Rules
IDHR withdrew its proposed PA 103-0804 notice rules (published May 15) and canceled the June 10 hearing, citing inter-agency coordination. The statute remains in effect; enforcement-rule specifics are paused.
